John 16:13 “However, when He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth . . .”

Ezekiel 36:26 “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.”

Luke 10:27 “So he answered and said, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”

Psalms 112:6-7 “Surely he shall not be moved forever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.  He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.”

Focus: The Performance of your NEW HEART, through the Powerful Presence of the Holy Spirit in you.

GOD wants us to know the many Powerful and Exciting things that He has done within us.  He has appointed the Holy Spirit to be our HELPER, and Special Personal Revealer of the things.  In the first verse for today, God says that the Holy Spirit will Guide us into all Truth.  God wants us to understand, that when He tells us Truth, He FULLY INTENDS that we will Experience the Reality of such Truth.  When God tells us about something that He will do, He stakes His very Reputation on it.  For example, God says that He leads us into the Path of Righteousness for His NAME’S SAKE (Psalm 23:3).  If God told us about something that He will do, and then we do not experience it, that would make Him a Liar, who has no Power!!!

The second verse tells us about the Specific Truth that He wants us to know; which is the gift of a new heart and a new spirit.  The New Spirit, which we have been given, is the Holy Spirit Himself.  The Holy Spirit now Guides us to understand and accept the main function of our new hearts which is; to Love the Lord our God with all our hearts, with all our souls, with all our strength, and with all our minds, and our neighbors as ourselves. This Precious Insight is found in the third verse.  God fully intends that our new hearts will function Perfectly according to His Purpose, through His Divine Provision, even our Personal Helper.  The Holy Spirit does not only Guide us into all Truth, He also Personally Helps us to EXPERIENCE the said TRUTH moment-by-moment (Isaiah 27:2-3).  Through the Holy Spirit, who is our Helper and our Coach, we have the utmost Capability and Capacity to Love God Completely, and to Love our neighbours Constantly and Compassionately.

God has Declared that He has given us new hearts of flesh, therefore, He must Daily DEMONSTRATE the REALITY of their Divine function for all the world to see, know, and believe.  This is God’s way of moving us on from the Theory of Doctrine, to the Practical Development of Loving Dedication to Duty, according to His Divine Direction.  Through the fourth and final verses, the Holy Spirit gives us further knowledge of the Blessings and Benefits of our new hearts.  We are Faithfully assured that we shall not be moved by Fear.  God has Sovereignly Decreed that Fear shall not continue to have Dominion in our lives.  We will be Delivered, so that Fear can no longer move us to panic and perplexity.  Moment-by-moment the Holy Spirit will surely FIX our hearts, to TRUST GOD in every situation.  Freedom from Fear; Oh, what a Powerful Promise!!!

Thanks be to God.  Through the Power of the Holy Spirit in us, there will be a PERFORMANCE of this Marvellous Promise, in our daily lives.  God wants us to experience and enjoy every provision, which He has ever made available to us.  All of His Promises must come to pass in our daily lives, for His Glory and our good.  Let us Delight in the Presence of the Holy Spirit, who so wonderfully Delivers us from Fear, so that we can really enjoy the rich virtues of our New Hearts.  Truly! Truly! Truly!  God has not given us a spirit of Fear, but of Power, of Love, and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).  Blessed be our GOD forever, for His Goodness and Tender Loving Care.
