THE POWER OF GOD’S PEACE IN YOU.
Philippians 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Focus: GOD wants us to experience the maximum benefits of His Peace. God loves us and He wants us to live super-abundant victorious lives. Therefore He most certainly does not want anxiety to have dominion over us. For this reason God bids us to bring EVERYTHING to Him in prayer. God is our Heavenly Father, and He delights to listen to the cares and wants of all of His children. He takes pleasure in granting our requests according to His Wisdom, and at just the right time. He will only give what is best for us, since He already has wonderful plans for our lives. God wants us to have a particular attitude when we pray; He says, “We must give thanks.” When we give thanks, we are expressing confidence in God’s love for us, His willingness to consider our request, and His Power to provide and perform on our behalf. God has promised to do something very special for us even before we pray. He says that through Christ, He will give us a Super-natural Peace. This Peace will act as a ‘Security Guard’ to shield our hearts and minds from, fear, stress, and worry. Since God cannot lie this Promise is GUARANTEED!
Always remember that God loves you, and He wants you free from all worry at all times.
