IN THE BEGINNING



Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth."


The beginning began with God. He created all things bright and beautiful. He created life and He sustains it. Hence, we belong to Him. Without God, there is no life. All that we know and have come to appreciate, we owe to God, the Creator.  God is constant and changeless.


As He was in the beginning, He is and will be in all aspects and phases of life, the middle and  the end. In other words, life began with God and it will end with Him. It is clear that we did not choose our beginning, but we have the power of choice to choose our middle, that is how we live now; and our end, where we will spend eternity.


By choosing to live our 'now' lives with God, who created the heavens and the earth, we are inevitably making preparation to spend eternity with Him.
