GOD’S WONDERFUL REASSURANCE OF HIS CONSTANT ASSISTANCE
John 14:16-17 “And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever; The Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.”
Isaiah 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
Focus: Experiencing the more abundant life, moment-by-moment, through believing in the constant Presence and Participation of God in our lives.
God wants us to be confidently aware of His great Love for us; because of His Love, He has given us His Spirit to be WITH us and IN us. God’s Spirit is God, Himself. Therefore, God is with us and in us ALL the time. Do not try to understand how God can be in you; just REJOICE and accept what He says by faith.
God is not only with and in us all the time; He also knows all things about us all the time. At all times God knows what we will think, when we will think it, and why we will think it. He knows how we feel, and why we are feeling that way. He knows our deepest longings and desires, and how to meet them. God knows all the things that we will do and say, because He has unlimited knowledge and wisdom. He also has unlimited provision to meet all our needs.
God is Love, and therefore, His greatest pleasure and delight are to be our daily Helper. Since He Loves us He does not want us to be fearful, or worried and anxious. He knows that fear and anxiety will make us sick. God wants us to know and remember all these things, because He wants us to be continually conscious, and confidently aware of His Presence and Participation in every area of our lives, every second of every hour. Every moment of the day, God wants us to hear His Loving Voice saying to us, “I am near you, I hear you, I care for you, and I will help you. Oh, what COMFORTING words! Oh, what CONSOLATION!
Just stop, and listen to this wonderful DECLARATION. The God of the Universe, the Owner of ALL things, Loves you, and is ALWAYS with you to meet ALL your needs, ALL the time. The God of the Universe, the Owner of ALL things, is Intimately Interested in every Intricate Item of your affairs. WOW! WOW! WOW! Oh what a LOVER! Oh, what a HELPER! Oh, what Unlimited Unreserved Help!
God loves to help to coordinate our attire. He gives fantastic matching ideas, in terms of colour and style. When you cannot think what to cook, God will give you some interesting suggestions. When you misplace your keys, or your spectacles, He will tell you where they are. God is willing to help you to manage your finances, mend or maintain your relationships, choose a career, or choose a spouse. He will gladly assist you to start a hobby, or learn a new skill. God is at His happiest, when we invite and involve Him in all of our day-to-day activities.
God wants us to be alert and attentive, in our acceptance and appreciation, of His Practical Presence and Divine Performance in all of our issues. He wants us to continually know and remember all these things, because He wants us to have Happiness of Heart, Health, and Hope as He daily walks hand-in hand with us. Truly, Truly, Truly, God has made all the provision for us to have life, peace, and joy, MORE ABUNDANTLY.
