GOD’S PRECIOUS GIFT OF DAYS

Psalms 118:24 “This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”
Ecclesiastes 3:11 “He has made everything beautiful in His time. . . ”
Focus: God wants us to treasure, enjoy, and share every day of our lives, because each day is a Special Gift from Him.
The Creativity of God is indeed most marvellous. In the beginning, He created Days, and He also did specific activities on those days, according to His Divine Plan. God designed each day during which, He accomplished His unique purpose. He is a God of order, beauty, and symmetry, and this was demonstrated as His activities complemented those which were done the day before, and contributed to the development of the next, until the completion of this world.
The verses for today reveal the Mind of GOD, so that we will clearly know and understand that a Day is not just an ordinary event. God continues to wonderfully practise His Creative Art in our daily lives. At the beginning of Creation, God made Light. Likewise at the beginning of each New Day God wakes us up to the Light of His Loving Presence, and offers Himself to be our Personal Escort moment-by-moment. He has Lovingly designed and planned our days, so that each day’s activities complement and contribute to the development and completion of His re-creative work in us.
Each day of our lives is a Precious Unique Gift from God to us, and it is to be treasured, enjoyed, and shared with Him and with all those we meet. God is Interested in every area of our lives, therefore, He made each day, and an Itinerary for that particular day, just as He did at Creation. He wants to be Intimately Involved in the Intricate details of every Item on that Itinerary, because He wants us to enjoy the Beauty of His Divine Wisdom, the Benefits of His Presence, and the Blessings of His Leadership. God’s plan for you today may include, visiting someone or giving that person a call, grocery shopping, doing the laundry, and cooking. It may be going to work and blessing your employer by having an extra helpful attitude.
Whatever it may be He wants to be INVOLVED. God is Interested in helping you to choose your attire, and even styling your hair. He wants to tell you what to do and when to do it, so that you can experience the benefits of good time-management. God wants to tell you where to go, and when to go there, because He knows the ‘bargains’ He has set-up for you on that particular day. God will have your parking spot ready at just the right time. He will connect you with Someone that you have been longing to meet, or Something that you have been longing to own.
God knows what He will allow to happen on any given day and He always has a Plan-before-hand to help us to navigate every issue that will occur. Some days may be filled with Problems and Pain, while on other days, we will experience Peace and Pleasure. God has Faithfully Promised, that whatever the situation may be, His GRACE will always be more than sufficient for us to be able to cope and conquer it. .
The Process of Pain and Problems may not be Pleasant, but God will always make it a Profitable experience. God knows how to cause all things to work together for our good. You may have a car accident, through which God gives you a better car. You may become ill. God allowed it because that was the only way that He could get you to rest. Life may not always seem to be beautiful, but God knows how to bring ‘beauty’ out of ‘ashes.’ He is the great exchanger, who takes away the “spirit of heaviness”, and replaces it with the “garment of praise”, because He wants us to go through each day with an attitude of Peace, Trust and Joy. (Isaiah 61:3)
“This is the Day that the Lord has made”, is indeed a wonderful motto to keep our minds focused on the fact that He, who made the day, also has full control of all its activities and outcomes. We can truly “rejoice and be glad in it” because we have the guaranteed Prom
We can truly “rejoice and be glad in it” because we have the guaranteed Promises of God to cause us to have productive days. God will never leave or forsake us, He will supply ALL our needs, and any weapon formed against us cannot prosper. With Promises like these, who can ask for more??? (Hebrews 13:5-6, Philippians 4:19, Isaiah 54:17)
To give us even more assurance, God has further Promised, that whatever happens during any of our days, He will make something ‘beautiful’ of it, in His time. You may LOSE your job, but God will cause you to GAIN ‘beautiful’ lessons of Trust, Contentment, Patience, Humility, and Adjustment to reduced finances. Someone may hurt you, and God will take the opportunity to make you ‘beautiful’ in character, by teaching you the principles of forgiveness and reconciliation. You may experience sudden bereavement, or the loss of your home on that particular day. However, you can be certain that God will make the situation ‘beautiful’, by giving you Comfort and Peace, and surprising you by sending the very people and resources that are most needed. Let us truly TRUST GOD, and the days of our lives will surely be more beautiful, sweeter and most successful.
