GOD’S GUARANTEED REMEDY FOR FEAR
Isaiah 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; Yes, I will help you; Yes, I will uphold you with My Righteous Right Hand.”
Hebrews 13:5 “. . . I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Isaiah 26:3 “You will keep him in perfect Peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.”
2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of Power and of love and of a sound mind.”
1 John 4:18 “. . . perfect love casts out fear, because fear has torment . . .”
Focus: FAITH in the REALITY of God’s Love, His Presence, and His Power in our daily lives.
GOD Loves, Loves, Loves, His Children; you, and me. He knows the Danger, and Destructiveness of Fear; therefore, He does not want us to Fear anyone, or be Fearful at any time, about anything. Our Heavenly Father lovingly and firmly says to us, Fear NOT, be NOT Dismayed. To be Dismayed is to be scared and anxious. God says in His Word, “Be anxious for nothing.” (Philippians 4:6)
God gives a very, very, very, PERFECT REASON, why we should NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, be Fearful or Dismayed; He says, “I, GOD, AM WITH YOU. I, MYSELF, I PERSONALLY, AM YOUR GOD. I HAVE SOLEMNLY PROMISED THAT I WILL NEVER, NEVER, EVER, LEAVE YOU OR FORSAKE YOU. I, GOD, CANNOT LIE, AND I ALWAYS KEEP ALL OF MY PROMISES, TO ALL OF MY CHILDREN, ALL OF THE TIME.”
Since I am GOD, and since I am ALWAYS with you, and since there is NO ONE in this Universe who is BIGGER, STRONGER, or more POWERFUL, why should YOU be Fearful??? MY CHILDREN IT IS HIGH TIME FOR YOU TO BELIEVE MY WORDS TO YOU!!! I told you that I am ALWAYS with you, and I also told you WHAT I am doing when I am with you. I am Strengthening you, I am Helping you, and I am Personally upholding and Supporting you with My Right Hand. I have PERSONALLY Confirmed and Affirmed ALL these things to you, I said YES twice in the first verse.
God has given us ALL this Information and Instruction, because Fear must NO LONGER Interfere with our minds. I, your GOD, shall INSPIRE you with MY PERFECT PEACE, and GUIDE you by MY HOLY SPIRIT to STAY your MIND on ME. I want you to know that because of MY GREAT LOVE for you, I MYSELF, will Teach you how to TRUST MY PRESENCE, MY POWER, and MY PROVISION, so that you will never be Terrified again. This is MY PROMISE to YOU; BELIEVE IT, NOW!!!
Fear must be REFUSED, RESISTED, and REJECTED at ALL times. Fear, is the spirit of the Devil; I gave you MY HOLY SPIRIT. Fear has Torment; therefore, a Fearful mind is a TORMENTED mind. I, your God, gave you a sound mind; a sound mind is a TRUSTFUL mind. A Tormented mind cannot think clearly. I gave you a sound mind with thoughts that are True, Honest, Just, Pure, Lovely, of Good Report, Virtuous and full of Praise. (Philippians 4:8) Fear causes FRUSTRATION. I gave you a sound mind with the FRUIT of Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, and Temperance. (Galatians 5:22-23)
When we become Fearful, we are embracing the principles of the Devil. Fear causes us to dishonor God’s Name, and deny His Faithfulness and dedication. It deprives us of Fellowship with God, by leading us to disregard His Presence and despise His Promises and His Grace. Quite often when we find ourselves in situations where God seems not to be answering our prayers, Fear tempts us to believe that God has forgotten or abandoned us. It develops unbelief with regard to the Love and Goodness of God, and His direct interest and involvement in our daily affairs. Fear leads us to disrespect God, by being disobedient to His command which says, Fear NOT.
Fear is a Distracting force. It seeks to Distract us from the Love, Presence, and Power of God, which He has so freely given to us. The word FEAR represents,
· Following Error And Rebellion;
· False Emotions And Reasoning; and
· Forsaking Emmanuel’s Atoning Release.
Fear is the opposite of Faith. FEAR Creates
· Doubt, Despair, Dismay, Depression, Discord,
· Disharmony, Delusion, Dislocation, Disarray, and ultimately DESTRUCTION.
FAITH Creates
· Delight in God, Dedication to Duty, Divine Development
· Deliverance from Deception and Doubt, and ultimately the fulfillment of God’s DESTINY for us.
God wants us to know and understand, that as a man thinks in his heart so is he. (Proverbs 23:7) If we choose to think Fearful thoughts, we will become persons who are fearful and weak. If we choose to think thoughts of Faith in God, through studying His Word, it is GUARANTEED that we will become men and women of STRONG UNSHAKABLE FAITH. By GOD’S GRACE let us GUARD our hearts with all diligence from the spirit of Fear. (Proverbs 4:23) PRAISE GOD, DELIVERANCE FROM FEAR IS FULLY ASSURED.
