Songs of Solomon 7:10 “I am my beloved’s, and his desire is toward me.”

Isaiah 54:5 “For your Maker is your husband, The Lord of hosts is His Name; and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth.

Romans 8:38-39 “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,  nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the Love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Eph. 3:17-19 “. . . that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height  - to know the Love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Focus: God’s Intimate, Fervent, Intense Love, and His Desires for us.

God’s GREATEST Desire is for us to have a continual Awakening, Awareness and Appreciation of His Marvellous, Matchless, Measureless Love for us.  God says to us through the Cross, “I Love you so much, I would rather Die for you, than live without you!!!”  One hymn writer declares that God’s Love for us is Divine and all Excelling.   Another states that God’s Intense Love for us is Strong and True, Eternal and yet ever New; Uncomprehended and Unbought, beyond all Knowledge and all Thought.  Oh! Oh! Oh! ALL of this WONDERFUL LOVE, for you and me!!!

In the first verse for today, a wife is delighted because she belongs to her beloved husband, and he desires (longs) after her.  He desires for her to continually know that she is cherished.  He longs after her in the sense of being passionate about pleasing her in every way.   Her husband longs after every opportunity to express his love, and make her happy, more and more.   He longs for her to be fully assured that he will always be her lover, friend, comforter, provider, and protector.   His desire is for her to respond to him with joyful tender love, and expressions of enthusiastic appreciation, and consideration.

God uses this husband and wife relationship to demonstrate His Love for us.  The second verse for today, speaks of the God of the whole earth as our Maker and Husband.  God Intimately expresses His Devotion and Delight in us, by saying that we are His beloved, and His Desire is toward us.  His Desire is for us to continually know that we are Precious, Special, and Dearly Cherished.  God longs for us to fully BELIEVE that He will always be our Beloved Creator, Friend, Comforter, Pleasure, Provider, and Protector.   His Desire is for us to respond to Him with grateful joyful hearts, and expressions of enthusiastic Adoration, Appreciation and Thankfulness.

God’s Thoughts towards us are Thoughts of Peace, not of evil.  (Jeremiah 29:11)   He longs for us to understand and be FULLY PERSUADED that NOTHING can separate us from His Love.  Not even our sins can separate us from Him, because He said that He will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea, and remember them no more.  (Micah 7:19, Jeremiah 31:34)   His Desire is towards us; He is never against us.  He demonstrates daily the Width, Length, Depth, and Height of His Love for us, and the Longing of His Heart, is for us to Love Him with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our mind, and with all our strength.   (Mark 12:30)

God Longs after us with fervent intensity, and He Lavishes His Love on us; so that we can have a Lasting Divine experience with Him.  He yearns for us to continually enjoy the Intimate reality of a relationship with Him as our Beloved God, Father, Deliverer, and Friend.  His Desire is that we would truly know the daily reality of life more abundantly.  This is possible only when we heed the Divine Counsel, to keep God’s Commandments, so that we can abide in His Love.  Truly we are God’s Beloved and His most Intense Desire is towards having us living with Him for all eternity.   God longs to send Jesus QUICKLY, to take us to be with Him in His Heavenly Home.  Therefore, please respond to His Loving call to you, by accepting Him as your Beloved God, TODAY.
