God Is Always Thinking Of You!

Psalms 139:17-18 “How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!

How great is the sum of them!

If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand.”

Focus: You are very special and very important to God; it is as if you were the only person in this world.

GOD has a deep longing for us to know and believe all that He has revealed to us in His Word. God especially longs for us to know and believe in His expressions of unlimited love for us, and His eternal devotion to us.

In this Psalm, God uses sand to define and demonstrate the extent of His thoughtfulness towards us. God is actually saying to us, if you really want to know how much I love you, and how often I think about you, try counting all the sand in the world; in every desert, on every beach, and in all the seas! Through this “word-picture” of unlimited sand, God says to you, “My child you are ALWAYS on My Mind. I never stop thinking about you, because you are very special to Me.”

Through His Word God is pointing out the extreme level of His concern and consideration which He has for you and all your affairs, every moment, of every day of your entire life. All that you will ever need, more than you can ever desire, God has already thought of, and fully planned for. Furthermore, He stands ready, willing, and able to do all these things for you at just the right time. WOW! What a GOD! Best of all He wants you to know today, and forever that He is all yours, and you are all His.
