Mark 5:25-26 25. "And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, 26  And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse," Verse 25 records the dilemma that a woman encountered for twelve years, which must have been a very embarrassing, distressing condition.  To add to her shame, she was rendered unclean and was therefore barred from entering the temple. Undoubtedly, the  condition must have adversely affected all areas of her daily functions. Verse 26 speaks to the negative financial and psychological impact that she experienced. The several doctors' visits had exhausted her savings, yet she realized no remedy for her sickness. On the contrary, her illness worsen. That woman found herself in a desperate situation that was progressively deteriorating. Sometimes life can throw us a curve ball, which can be deflating.  However, God always provides resilience and the scope to cope.  A practical knowledge of God's word and active faith in Him are solid foundations on which to stand. Isaiah 43:2 is very reassuring, motivating and comforting. It states, "When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee." The verse speaks to the fact that no matter how overwhelming and distressing the conditions might be, God's intervention is inevitable, which is His protection over us. No situation can outstrip God's love, protection and care for us. Therefore, may we remain resolute that God's promises will never fail.
