CARRIED EVERY MOMENT, IN THE FATHER’S LOVING ARMS

Isaiah 46:3-4 “Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, And all the remnant of the house of Israel,

Who have been upheld by Me from birth, Who have been carried from the womb:

Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you!

I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you.”

Focus: GOD’S faithful commitment to us from the womb to the tomb.

These two verses ‘overflow’ with revelation from your Father’s Heart to you. They give great knowledge and understanding of the extent of His concern for us. These Words from the Mouth of God, demand our attention and thoughtful reflection. As we do this, we will increasingly gain Divine comprehension of God’s feelings for us, and His Ways of working in our lives.

In these verses God solemnly declares – I made you, and I will maintain you and manage all your affairs every day of your life. We see expressed in these words the intensity and constancy of God’s love and care for all of us. In addition, He sincerely indicates the depth of intimacy which He has towards us. We are upheld and embraced in the Arms of the God of the Universe, Himself. Oh, what a God! Oh, what Love!

From the moment of our conception in the womb, to the moment of our departure from this world, God tenderly, thoughtfully, thoroughly, and triumphantly, carries us through all of our endeavors and encounters. Finally, He lovingly assures us that even in our old age, we shall not be abandoned.
